MARK MORRIS DANCE GROUP TO PERFORM AT THE EGG
Mark Morris Dance Group will perform at The Egg on Friday, September 24th at 8:00 PM as part of the Dance New York series.
Modern dance’s most musical and wittiest choreographer, Mark Morris invents lush, expressive movement for his company of incredibly gifted dancers performing to live music by Chopin, Barber and Gershwin.
Mark Morris was born on August 29, 1956, in Seattle, Washington, where he studied with Verla Flowers and Perry Brunson. In the early years of his career, he performed with the companies of Lar Lubovitch, Hannah Kahn, Laura Dean, Eliot Feld, and the Koleda Balkan Dance Ensemble.
