A grant in the amount of $700 was awarded to the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York, Inc. from the WGY Christmas Wish Campaign and their major partner Curtis Lumber. This donation will be used to support our camp scholarship program for children with epilepsy who are unable to attend due to financial need. Thanks to the generosity of WGY over the years, we will continue to provide more opportunity for children with epilepsy and their families.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York provides direct services for people with epilepsy and their families in twenty-two counties, including the Capital Region, North Country, and Upper Hudson Valley. These services include education and training of school personnel, age appropriate education for students, public education and awareness, service coordination, advocacy, counseling, and first aid training.
