‘Cats Playoff Ticket Pre-Sale Beginning Tuesday
Tickets For The General Public To Go On Sale Tuesday, August 21
TROY, NY – The Tri-City ValleyCats have announced that their season ticket, mini-plan and flex package holders will all have the first opportunity to purchase 2012 playoff tickets beginning Tuesday, August 14 at 10am.
In order to purchase pre-sale tickets, ValleyCats season ticket, mini-plan or flex package holders must visit the ValleyCats box office, call Box Office Manager Jessica Kaszeta at 518-629-2287 or e-mail her at jessicakaszketa@tcvalleycats.com.
Playoff tickets for the general public will officially go on-sale Tuesday, August 21 at 10am. They will be available for purchase online at www.tcvalleycats.com, at the ValleyCats box office, or by phone at 518-629-CATS.
ValleyCats 2012 playoff tickets will be sold in four packs (to cover all potential home playoff games) and also individually. Premium four pack playoff tickets will be $34.50, reserved will be $28.50, and grandstand will be $19.50. Single game tickets will be priced at $11.50, $9.50 & $6.50.
The first place ValleyCats are currently at the All-Star break and sit 14-games ahead of the Lowell Spinners. Their magic number to clinch the Stedler Division stands at nine games with 22 games remaining. Any combination of nine ValleyCats wins and Lowell losses will clinch the division for the ‘Cats. It would be the 4th division title in their 10-year history (’04, ’06, ’10).
The ValleyCats most recent playoff appearance came two years ago, in 2010, in which they won their first ever New York-Penn League Championship. The ‘Cats playoff appearances in 2004 and 2006 both resulted in a loss in the finals.
The ValleyCats will welcome in the New York Mets and Yankees affiliates back-to-back beginning on Wednesday, taking on the Brooklyn Cyclones from August 15-17 and the Staten Island Yankees from August 18-20. Tickets for the homestand are currently on-sale, but seats are going fast. The ValleyCats only have 12 remaining regular season home games.
