"The Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce aims to be a catalyst for growth and prosperity for our members and the Capital Region by providing leadership, advocacy and services." - Vision and Mission The Chamber has been successful at doing just that -- the group is made up of 2,400 businesses and organizations of every size and every kind throughout the area. About 67% of the Chamber is made up of small businesses, but members range from nonprofit organizations, large companies, schools and entrepreneurs. A large and intrinsically valuable collection of resources for businesses to draw from has been created through this network, allowing entrepreneurs and small business owners to springboard off of each other's ideas and propel themselves and their business forward. Work is done constantly by the Chamber to help improve the member businesses. What is available to Chamber members? * Networking opportunities The Albany-Colonie Chamber is committed to promoting the local Capital Region; there is extensive contact between the Chamber and other chambers, state and local governments as well as economic development groups.
