Albany Rowing Center's Junior Summer Rowing camp offers a rowing program to campers ages 12 to 18, M-F, 9am-12pm, on the Hudson River, 8 sessions from June 17 to Aug 16, 2024. Come row join us on the Hudson, you may even spot an eagle!
Albany Rowing Center (ARC) teaches young athletes, ages 12-18, about the sport of rowing through participation fun program on the Hudson River. Campers will learn the basic techniques of sweep rowing and sculling, water and boat safety, stroke mechanics on a rowing machine, equipment handling, and lots of team work. No prior experience necessary, although swimming ability is a prerequistie. There are eight one-week camp sessions, from 9am-12 pm. Campers who complete two sessions may be eligible to join our modified or competivie junior rowing program. Come join us on the Hudson; you may even spot an eagle!
Camp runs Monday through Friday; hours are 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM, cost, $260/week.
