Art Utopia... So Happy I found You!

I have a 9 year old daughter that just loves Art and Art Utopia has just been such a wonderful "gift" to her. Back in October I found Art Utopia and it has been a blessing since. AJ has been such a mentor to my daughter and has shown her and has brought out her creativity in Art. From one session of making a dress, my daughter has now asked for sketching pads with fashion instructions, so cool. Then, for Christmas I opened this present that was a snowglobe she made and I was AMAZED and cried, it was Beautiful! What Art Utopia has given to my daughter is just what she needs to just be creative and be "herself". My daughter asks every week if she is going and unfortunately with our schedule there are som weeks that she is unable to attend, but EVERY week she asks becuase she Loves It So Much! Thanks AJ and I thank you for caring for my daughter and what she can do - your teaching and love for Art shows!

Here's a firsthand review: the Coffee Painting class is excellent!!

These ladies are wonderful teachers who truly care about their students
and work to provide a nurturing, affirming experience for the student
artists, no matter what their ability level. This class is a great way
to sample their style as educators - I truly can't imagine any child who
wouldn't enjoy working with them. They have also taught my younger kids
(ages 4-8) in another class, and I was amazed at how engaged the kids
were in art (for a long time, too!) and of course I've been listening to
the afterglow for days!

So, let me encourage you to try out the Coffee Painting class (for only
$5 - it's a great deal!) as a way of introducing yourselves to this
remarkable resource in art education right here in Albany. (You can also
contact them for your other art-class ideas/needs - they are open to
teaching all kinds of art!)

My children (6 & 8) have been going to classes at ART UTOPIA for several weeks. They love the time they spend with AJ and Candy. As instructors, they allow the kids to follow their own paths while providing gentle but informative direction. Prior to attending class, my son didn't enjoy being artfully creative-the environment Candy and AJ have created has allowed him to come out of his shell, he can't wait to share his creations with family and friends. Additionally, the 3 hour class allows me time to take care of neccessary errands and appointments-knowing that they are with such caring, compassionate instructors give me great peace of mind.

Art Utopia has become our favorite activity these days. As a new homeschool Mom I was eager to find things for my son to do that would be artistic and fun. We have found that here as well as two new friends. Candy and AJ are so gifted and creative. We always look forward to our class time there. Anyone looking for an art class for their kids or themselves should give them a call!!
