A not-for-profit institution, miSci (museum of innovation and science, formerly the Schenectady Museum) explores science and technology - including a planetarium, demos and hands-on activities for adults and children.
miSci is a dynamic destination just a short drive from Albany, Saratoga, and Troy! The Museum explores the area's rich technological heritage, with some of the region's finest interactive exhibits; a must-see for families, tourists, area residents, and other visitors.
miSci supports science education with interactive exhibits, planetarium shows and standards-based STEM programming. miSci provides a hands-on learning approach to science and technology, allowing students to explore science and connect their discoveries to real world applications. Bring your group or class to miSci or have miSci's hands-on science at your school.
miSci offers free parking in their lot and the build is easily accessible by CDTA (public transportation).
