As an employee of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, I was very pleased when Omi Art Center's member application came across my desk. I have a special interest in them because the Center is "just up the road" from my home in West Ghent, NY. The center gives us the opportunity to view creations from a diverse community of artists and is a tourist draw for local residents and travelers alike. A day spent walking around their extensive property enjoying the works is a day well spent. I highly recommend a visit to the Omi Arts Center.

A Simple Network of Underground Wells and Tunnels is a land art sculpture, originally constructed by Aycock in 1975, reconstructed at Art Omi under the artist's supervision. The piece is a series of deep concrete wells, connected by underground corridors.
