The first time I offered my blog readers a collection of what I like to call "2-Faced Heads," I explained that I find bad headlines very entertaining.

Some are caused by the press of deadlines, some by sloppy proof-reading, some by poor juxtaposition with other stories or photos, some by simple incompetence. And now, with the increase in headlines online, the field is ripe for frequent harvesting.

Here is the latest crop found in print and online:

• Chicago Tribune editor discusses pulling of a 'Fuzzy' strip

• Buffalo taking small steps toward respectability

• Microsoft accuses federal judge of being impartial

• Police looking for man who may have dated dead woman

• Local programs try to snuff out problem-prone children

• Intelligence seen as essential tool

• Man was thrown from motorcycle and into mailbox

• Lawmakers leave state with surplus of $26 million

• Man found dead at cemetery

• World War II kamikaze survivors meet

• Girl, 10, improves after fatal crash

• Faso makes Syracuse stop

• Holy Family eyeing move to Ashland Street
