The Bowling Green State University Men's Chorus will perform at Guilderland High School at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 5. This 60-voice, nationally known touring chorus conducted by Tim Cloeter will present a concert of sacred and secular music that spans from Renaissance music to Russian folksongs, and from opera choruses to barbershop quartets. Concert highlights will include Victoria's "O vos omnes," Poulenc's third "Prayer of St. Francis," Wagner's "Pilgrims' Chorus" from Tannhauser, Martin's "The Awakening," Khatelishvili's "Khorumi," Chatman's "Reconciliation," and a set of British folksongs.
Also appearing on the concert will be the Guilderland High School Chamber Choir directed by Rae Jean Teeter. Admission is free-a free will offering will be collected to help defray touring expenses. Guilderland High School is located at 8 School Road, Guilderland Center, NY.
