Juneteenth is the holiday commemorating the final abolition of slavery, June 19, 1865. Come celebrate this freedom day in Freedom Square in Troy.
There will be live music from the Shokazoba Afrofunk Orchestra, the Heavenly Echoes Gospel Singers, and more! There will also be food and smoothes, and crafts. Additionally, historians will be on hand to discuss and explain Juneteenth.
