A Moveable Feast 2017 to support Historic Albany
Don't miss out on "A Moveable Feast" on April 1! Enjoy an evening of cocktails, silent auctions, and more for a great cause!
The Historic Albany Foundation is a non-profit membership organization incorporated in 1974 to promote the appreciation and preservation of Albany’s remarkable historic buildings and neighborhoods. The Foundation offers educational programs, provides technical assistance, leads advocacy efforts and operates the Architectural Parts Warehouse.
“A Moveable Feast” is our largest and most- anticipated fundraiser of the year. The event begins with a cocktail reception, hors d'oeuvres, & silent auction held at a large-scale historic venue. Guests are randomly assigned to a host home somewhere in the city for a gourmet dinner with other unknown guests. They do not know this location until the night of the event, which adds to the excitement and anticipation! After dinner, all of the attendees return to the first original venue to enjoy coffee, dessert, and the close of the silent auction to support the architectural heritage of Albany.
Sat, April 1, 2017 | 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Start at the Adirondack Hall at the NYS Museum (222 Madison Ave, Albany) for a cocktail reception and silent auction, then head to your next destination (TBA the night of the event - one of the city's beautiful homes) for a delicious dinner. After dinner, return to Adirondack Hall for an elegant dessert reception and silent auction.
