Alcott Smith Tracking Field Experience

Alcott Smith Tracking Field Experience: Saturday and Sunday: Jan. 21st and 22nd:

Experience a full or half day field intensive on wildlife tracking with Alcott Smith, tracker, naturalist, and veterinarian. Three wildlife tracking sessions are offered by the Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center: Saturday, January 21 from 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm and Sunday, January 22 from 9am– 4pm.  Sign up for one or all three sessions. In past programs we have followed tracks to a porcupine in its den, found kill sites and have found deer and coyote beds recently used for sleep.  The possibilities are truly endless.

Pre-registration required. Space limited. Register by contacting dykenpond[at]gmail.com or (518) 658-2055. There is a fee of $30 for the full day program and $20 for a half day program ($5 discount for members of the Friends of Dyken Pond). Dress for being outdoors, and be physically fit.
