Throughout the summer, Saratoga 150 will honor military members who fought in military conflicts in the young colonies and the new nation through a series of military living history encampments in Congress Park.
The weekend of June 8 & 9 features the American Revolution. Reenactors will be dressed as British and American soldiers that fought the Battles of Saratoga and will discuss why this was one of the top ten most important battles in world history.
Encampment Hours: Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 9-2.
Following the encampment, will be a Sunday evening musical performance, at 5 p.m., by Gary Ferris presenting a performance of “Until It’s Over There” -- dramatic re-creation of a World War II home-front radio broadcast, set in a New York City radio studio during the war.
