"Mean Mary" James, a Florida native now based in Nashville, will perform in concert on April 14 at 8pm at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts. Her life has been one long road show interspersed with TV, radio, and film. She has performed more than 500 live TV shows and over 4,000 road shows-including national festivals, fairs, cruises, colleges, theaters, clubs and house concerts.
This rich voiced singer, song writer and maestro of 11 instruments has recorded some of her most compelling songs to date. On her newest release she keeps both bare feet on the country side of Americana while still burying her toes deep into her traditional roots. Tickets are $16, under 18 $10. Reservations can be made at the web site or at 518-674-2007. The Center is located at 2880 NY 43, Averill Park, NY. There is plenty of free parking.
