Nat Phipps was a well-known New Jersey jazz musician from a big musical family who, fortunately for us, moved to the Capital Region and is playing and teaching here. A pianist and vocalist, he will play Jazz on Jay with Lee Russo on saxophone, Ben O’Shea on trombone, Mike Lawrence on bass and Cliff Brucker on drums.
