What Can the Talking Book and Braille Library Do for You?
Saturday, Apr 1, 2017
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
New York State Library - 7th Floor Librarian's Room, 222 Madison Ave, Albany, NY 12230
Are you or a family member having trouble reading books or magazines? Is your eyesight not what it used to be? The free Talking Book and Braille Library is for people with temporary or permanent low vision, blindness, or a physical disability. Members of the Talking Book and Braille Library have access to a world of resources - from books in braille or audio formats to accessible magazines - all mailed to your door for free, or instantly downloadable.
Join us anytime between 2:00 and 4:00pm on Saturday, April 1st at the New York State Library 7th floor Librarians Room. Senior Librarians Michael Whitney and Shawn Lemieux will be on hand to answer your questions and provide a brief summary and demonstration of our services. Do you already have a TBBL membership, but need assistance or have accessibility questions? Do you need help with downloading your BARD books using your computer or mobile device? We will also be on hand to provide hands-on training if needed to help you get the most from your library membership.
