Music Director David Alan Miller conducts lively interviews with Albany Symphony guest artists on Fridays at Noon prior to ASO Concerts. Join us at the Albany Public Library at 161 Washington Ave as we get "Up Close and Personal" with the amazing guests that grace the Symphony's stages. Music novices and symphony buffs are all welcome! Enjoy your lunch as you learn more about our exciting guest artists and the music they make. Free and open to the public; complimentary coffee, tea and cookies will be served.

Students from the College of St. Rose in Albany, New York will be uniting on Friday, November 30th at 7pm to join the fight against hunger in the Capital District. The Artist Management class of the college will be hosting a benefit concert in the St. Rose venue, Jack's Place, located at 996 Madison Ave. The concert is open to the public and in exchange for admission we ask for the simple donation of a few food items or $3 in cash; all of which will be given to the Unity House of Troy, a food pantry in Rensselaer County. The concert will feature six bands with members associated with local colleges in the Capital Region.
