More than 1,500 Walkers to Raise $250,000 for JDRF
Presenting Sponsor Rensselaer Honda and more than 1,500 walkers representing local corporations, families, schools, and other organizations are expected to participate in the Northeastern New York Chapter of JDRF Albany Walk to Cure Diabetes, on Sunday, May 6 at Corporate Woods starting at 9:30 a.m. The annual event has moved to the spring, starting in 2012. The fundraising goal of the chapter is to realize more than $250,000 for research to find better treatments and a cure for diabetes and its complications.
