Senior Services of Albany, an organization dedicated to providing services to older citizens, is hosting their 29th annual picnic for older adults. SSA works to serve the elderly by assisting in various aspects of their life, including transportation, meals, as well as recreation. The picnic is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 3 between 11:30 and 2:30 and is located in the Park at Corning Preserve. The event can only accommodate 100 people, so it is important that you make your reservations by the Monday before the picnic. You can make your reservations by calling Westview Senior Center at 482-2120. The suggested contribution for a full day of food and fun is $4 per person.

Through this class, instructors Jim and Anne Marie Tibbetts will blend Pilates and Yoga exercises for strength, flexibility and stability.
