Cracked up when I saw this book in the local section at the Barnes & Noble at Colonie Center Mall the other day. I guess when I think Zombie Apocolypse, the Hudson Valley doesn't come to mind...but now I know to be prepared!

Recently in Without Words CategoryBeing married to a former television sports anchor has it's drawbacks...seems like the Dan Patrick show is the only radio station Brett's car gets sometimes. But, on the other hand, I am always in the loop when cool sports stuff happens. Brett's been keeping me up to date about New York Knicks player Jeremy Lin and his made-for-tv story on his rise to fame. We couldn't help but laugh when we saw the latest in Knicks wear at Dick's Sporting Goods in Crossgates Mall the other night. It's taken Lin longer to climb to the top than it did to whip up these t-shirts!
If you mix 'nesting' with Spring Cleaning you end up making many trips to donate to the Salvation Army. Snapped this picture when I was dropping off a couple of bags and just couldn't help but thinking "Some people lost all of their belongings...don't you think that includes athletic equipment?"
Found this sign at the Hobby Lobby in Latham and couldn't resist snapping a picture! If I had any more wall space in my apartment, I probably would have taken it home. Take a look at just how much luggage it takes to get 1.5 people back from the holidays + two baby showers... * Special thanks to my dad, Mr. Ed, for dragging all 180 lbs. of it around for me!
Found this little bargain at the Albany airport on our last trip back South...on sale for $1.99! Who knew loving NY could be so cheap?? :) |
