What sets Maple Tree Funding apart from other real estate businesses in the area?

We are a local company that has a personal touch with our clients. We work around your schedule to make the process easier and more enjoyable to our clients. Buying a home is one of the biggest purchases a person will make in their lifetime! Maple Tree makes it an enjoyable and exciting process. We opened our second branch in Glens Falls, and we are excited to be a part of the growing community. University at Albany

What's the best part of your job?

The most satisfying part of my job is helping people who were told they could not buy a home get into a home. Sometimes it takes six months to a year to get their credit repaired and their financial situation corrected, and then the house process becomes easier. Being able to be a part of having a person and/or family see their dream house become a reality is a tremendous feeling.

I enjoy going out golfing with my friends and swimming in Lake George with my son.

Can you offer any advice for the first-time home buyer?

My advice: Get pre-approved and understand all of the costs and expenses of buying and owning a home.

What inspires you?

I'm inspired by the challenge of always learning something new. Knowledge is truly king, and I believe we can never have enough of it.

Where is your favorite place to relax?

For me, nothing beats sitting on Lake George reading the paper or a good book.
