Winners were selected for the “I Love New York” short-film contest, showcasing their talent with creative commercial ideas telling what they love about New York. The contest was part of an effort to highlight NY attractions and draw visitors here. All films were shot in New York State.
Films were judged by American film director and producer Doug Liman, “30 Rock” television star Tina Fey and Academy Award winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, among others.
The grand prize winner -- Sean Cunningham from Syracuse NY -- was selected on September 24, 2008. Cunningham also won the Central Region Award. See his winning video below:

Cunningham's film is posted on the “I Love New York” Web site, and will be aired during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast, on JetBlue Airways flights and on Independent Film Channel.
