ALBANY NY — The inaugural issue of Tech Professional Magazines was released for January / February 2009. This brand new bimonthly magazine is dedicated to the technology sector of the local business community, highlighting success stories and offering a way for tech professionals in the Capital Region to interact.
 With a tagline "Recognizing Excellence in Business," Tech Pro's mission for each issue is to "feature stories of outstanding businessmen
and women in technology-driven
companies." All companies will have a fair chance at the spotlight, including those that are well established as well as those that are brand new. This issue, Agora Games, Inc., a Troy-based company that develops online gaming communities, was the cover story. Inside was a feature article on the Schenectady Museum and other stories from area business professionals, featuring topics ranging from science and technology to insurance and networking.
Maxine L. Barasch, an Albany attorney and owner of Maxine Barasch & Associates PLLC, is
Editor-in-Chief of Tech Professional Magazines. She said she started the publication in hopes of giving business and technology leaders a way to communicate with one another. Each issue will be mailed to over 600 of these professionals throughout Tech Valley and beyond.
