Once you have the perfect dress, it's time to find the right accessories. Check out our tips for Albany Prom 2012 accessories!
Top 5 Prom Accessories:
1. Clutch - Don't tote around a huge bag all night, carry something small like a clutch that can be held easily. Tip: Find a color that matches you dress!
2. Shawl - On prom night it still may get cool in the evening so be sure to bring a shawl or a shrug to wrap around your shoulders.
3. Shoes - Since most proms occur in the spring open toe heels are your best best. Tip: If you can't find shoes the color of your dress, silver or white are always a safe color for spring proms.
4. Headband - A sparkly headband can be a great addition to your prom hairstyle. Tip: If you’re a brunette or a redhead, go for lighter rhinestones. Darker gems stand out best on blonde hair. Not into rhinestones? Feather and satin headbands are in this year also.
5. Jewelry - Prom is the night where it is ok to go over the top! Sparkly oversized earrings and necklaces that enhance your neckline and are in for 2011. Bracelets are great, but don't forget they may be covered by a wrist corsage.
Wondering where to shop? Crossgates Mall and Colonie Center Mall are great place for Albany shopping.
