2011 Super Bowl Performances:
Christina Aguilera will perform the National Anthem at Super Bowl 2011. Aguilera also performed the anthem at the 2000 Super Bowl.
The Black Eyed Peas will perform 2011 half time show at Super Bowl 45.
Super Bowl Snacks:
Buffalo Chicken Wings:
Ingredients: |
4 pounds Chicken wings, cut in thirds
salt & pepper
4 cups vegetable oil
4 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice or white wine vinegar

Instructions: |
1. In a large skillet, heat oil to 375F.
2. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Add chicken wings to hot oil and fry until golden brown.
4. Keep adding wings and drain on paper towels as you remove them.
5. Melt butter and stir in hot sauce, lemon juice or vinegar. Remove from heat.
6. Place chicken on a warm serving platter, pour Buffalo sauce over the top and serve. Serve with traditional garnishes of celery and Blue Cheese dressing for dipping.

Super Bowl Chili:
Ingredients: |
3 16 oz cans dark kidney beans, drained
2 16 oz cans tomatoes with juice
2 lbs. ground beef, browned, drained
1 large onion, chopped
3 celery stalks, diced
1 green pepper, seeded, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
6 Tablespoons chili powder
1 Jalepeno pepper, seeded, chopped |
Instructions: |
Put all of the ingredients in crock pot. Set on low for 8 or high 5 hours. Serve with cheese, sour cream or any other of your favorite toppings.
