If the thought of meat hanging from the ceiling, with a man wielding a large knife and a bloody apron kind of creeps you out, then you’ll find The Meat House is much better than you imagine.
It’s not only a butcher shop, but a grocery store filled with premium wines, vegetables, and all other foodie-coveted items. And now, a new location is opening up in Stuyvesant plaza.
The Meat House, which has been a locally-owned provider of premium meats since 2003, offers the perks of an old-fashioned butchery without the downsides (smells, flies, bloody apron again…)
These perks include selections of the best meat that are hand-cut to your order, and personal attention to your particular taste in meat.
You can find a wide variety of meats like steaks, roasts, marinated steak tips…even exotic delicacies like alligator tail, wild boar, ostrich, buffalo and venison.
Items like these are a little harder to find in many of Albany’s groceries.
Speaking of which, did I already mention that the Meat House was also a grocery? Along with your prize cut of meat, you can shop for chocolates, snacks, bread…all at the same quality as the meat.
The Meat House takes pride in its role as active supporters of the communities where it operates. Say hello to some friendly, involved new neighbors!
