The Tri-City ValleyCats have really been packing the fans into Joe Bruno Stadium this season. For the first time since the 2002 season, the 'Cats have reached the 100,000 attendance mark before the month of August.
Following the game on Sunday (7/31) the ValleyCats have drawn a total of 103,076 fans to the stadium this season. Three games this season posted numbers worthy of the "top ten all-time crowds at The Joe" including the single-game attendance record of 7,119 that fans set on July 9th.

There are 14 more home games this season, and six more fireworks dates scheduled. The ValleyCats are currently 5 back from Vermont in their division.

UPDATE: Three Tri-City ValleyCats have been selected as 2011 New York-Penn League All-Stars! 3B Matt Duffy, CF Justin Gominsky, and P Kyle Hallock are all headed to the NYPL All-Star Game at LeLacheur Park in Lowell on August 16th!
