Matt Baumgartner, owner of Bombers Burrito Bar and Wolff's Beirgarten, will open yet another location tomorrow (9/9) at noon as seen in a previous post. The Olde English Pub & Pantry, at 25 Quackenbush Square in downtown Albany will be open from 11am to 2am daily.
The lunch menu will be available until 4pm, and includes a steak, cheddar and ale soup, shepherds pie, wedge salad, double-decker sandwiches, devonshire potatoes and more. At 4pm they will switch over to the limited pub fare menu, and serve until 11pm.
Both menus are reasonably priced, and the beer, wine and scotch lists look promising. Surrounded by upscale places to eat, the pub will offer a few items to snack on while grabbing a drink with some friends.
