Do you go to the same bar every weekend? Are you looking for a new hang out? Check out Tony's Terrace, a new gay friendly bar in Albany.
I don't know about you, but sometimes I need a break from the club scene craziness...and Tony's Terrace, located at 720 Central Ave in Albany is the perfect place to go when you're looking for a casual night out on the town.
The bar is absolutely beautiful, complete with comfy couches, big screen TV, dance floor, fireplace and a piano. At the moment, there is no food, but there will be in the near future. Do you like to sing? Show off your pipes at Tony's Terrace on Fridays for karaoke night! My go-to song is "Summer Lovin" from the movie Grease...what's yours?! Saturdays at Tony's Terrace is piano night. Make sure you stop by to hear talented capital region musicians tickle the o'l ivories.
I heard about Tony's Terrace from my co-worker Rick who is having his 30th birthday party there. Should be a fun time! If you don't have any big plans this Friday, stop by Tony's Terrace and check it out. Even if you don't know Rick, you're still invited to party down with him and his friends because the party is doubling as a fundraiser for a charity close to his heart! Rick's party will be benefiting GLSEN (Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network). GLSEN is an active organization, partnering with schools, teachers, parents, administrators, church groups to promote safe schools for all. GLSEN strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. Rick's party starts at 5 PM if you're interested!
Check out Tony's Terrace this weekend and you'll be sure to have a great time! Whether you're looking to have a few casual drinks, sing some show tunes or catch up with friends, Tony's Terrace will welcome you with open arms!

There is no sing along. The piano player is clearly not the piano bar type. He seems like a nice guy but does not have the skill or background to know showtunes or sing along songs. He sounds like a kid practicing his piano lessons. He clearly spent really know the music he's trying to play. I understand that Friday karaoke is totally fun!
