No, that's not a typo! There is a new business in the Town of Colonie called For Your Canvenience, LLC. This business is the first independent redemption center in Colonie and opened their doors today to the public. This will be a new place for Colonie residents to deposit containers in an easy and quick way.can1.jpg

For your Canvenience (FYC) is a family operated, full-service redemption center located at 462 Troy-Schenectady Road. The business will be focused on being environmentally friendly and support recycling.

FYC will provide unique optional programs like drop and go service; accounts are set up then the customer just drops their cans off no waiting. The returns are counted and their account will be credited with the full five cents for each return.

For the moms with infants in the car, the elderly or the disabled FYC will offer car-side assistance to help bring bottles from the car to inside the store.
