The daughter of Elias Hannoush, founder of Hannoush Jewelers, is
starting up her own business in the area. Hannoush, his seven
brothers and his two sons are all in the family jewelry business. But if you thought diamonds were a girl's best friend,
think again. His daughter is opening a salon!
Hannoush's daughter Janette Nammour will be opening Salon Onaj at 112 Wolf Road in Colonie. It is her first business.
Though opening her first business may be a new experience for Nammour, she is no stranger to the salon world. She has been a stylist for years, and opening her own salon has always been a dream of hers.
Even though she is not working alongside her brothers Albert and David at Hannoush Jewelers, Nammour will be working alongside them at her new salon. The location for her salon is in the same building as the jewelry store her brothers run!
Salon Onaj is a modern salon featuring top-of-the-line equipment and experienced staff. Nammour says at her new salon, there is a huge focus on excellent customer service, and she feels honored and proud to now be known as Owner of Salon Onaj.
There will be a grand opening event to celebrate the opening of Salon Onaj on Monday, May 14. Nammour will be there alongside the Colonie Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30pm, followed by a grand opening celebration and open house.
"We welcome everyone to come in and find out what the 'Onaj' experience is all about," said Nammour.
