The Tri-City ValleyCats are just one win away from taking home the New York-Penn League championship title after their dramatic walk-off win Tuesday night. The 'Cats won with a sacrifice fly from Preston Tucker, with the bases loaded in the tenth inning.

The ValleyCats walk-off win came against the Hudson Valley Renegades at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, or "The Joe," as some call it. This was the last ValleyCats game at "The Joe," for the season, games two and three if necessary are away, and it was a memorable home finale.
'Cats right fielder Preston Tucker hit a sac fly with the bases loaded in the bottom of the tenth inning to end game one 5-4. Short-stop Ryan Dineen tagged from third base and easily stepped on home plate to seal the win as the crowd went crazy. Tri-City is now one win away from capturing it's second New York-Penn League Championship in two years.
The ValleyCats previous series concluded Monday against the Auburn DoubleDays. The series went all three games and the 'Cats won 16-7 over the Auburn in game three. The 'Cats batting was red-hot with eleven runs scored between the seventh and eighth innings.
