If you were among those sad to see the Aquaducks leave Albany last year, rest assured, the tours will continue! Harmony House, the company that formerly owned the Aquaducks, are continuing the historic tours on foot in the capital region.
MH900178080.JPG Harmony House Tours are fun-filled and center on themes ranging from cultural, historical, educational and culinary. Harmony House Tours run tours in the Capital Region as well as all across the state.

In the next month, the Harmony House Tours has several trips planned. On March 10th, they are holding a half-day outing to celebrate Irish culture in the capital region, visiting the Irish American Heritage Museum and many other local places. Exciting trips to Long Island and Washington D.C. are also coming up in the spring.

A bit of history on Harmony House...

In the spring of 2006, Jane LaCivita Clemente and Diane Conroy-LaCivita decided it was time to start a business that would liven up downtown Cohoes while also specializing in all of the great products that come from New York State. After cleaning out three historic buildings, they opened the "Wine Seller" in late 2006 at Harmony House Marketplace, which highlights wines made in New York State.

In 2007 Clemente and Conroy-LaCivita opened the "Bake Shop", which specializes in baked goods, breads, homemade soups, sandwiches, bleu cheese spread, and other great New York State products.

Today, the Harmony House includes R&G Cheese, Remsen Street Studios, Sawyer's Screen and Sticky Fingers Gourmet Apples. R&G Cheese features an on-site creamery, while at Remsen Street Studios, four resident artists create masterpieces and display their artwork.

Will you be taking any tours with the Harmony House Tours this year?
