Empire "Skate" Plaza's three-month run continues! Take advantage of free skate rentals on Friday, courtesy of Hannaford, and try hockey for free on Saturday morning.

Join Dan Yacobellis and Josh Wood at Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center and immerse yourself in a weekend of wildlife tracking! This course is ideal training for professionals, volunteers, or just personal enjoyment. Pre-registration is required.

The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is a great place for snowshoeing, whether you're a beginner or an expert. Join the team for a 0.9-mile hike on snowshoes and explore the frozen landscape of the pine barrens. Pre-registration is required.

New York residents and non-residents can fish for free without a license throughout the state this weekend! All other fishing regulations remain in effect, though, and anglers should take ice safety precautions before heading out onto any body of water.

Who doesn't love a piping hot serving of mac-n-cheese?! Head to Siena College this weekend for the annual Mac-n-Cheese Bowl and taste dozens of varieties of the dish prepared by local restaurants. Proceeds benefit the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.

Guest Conductor Karina Canellakis joins the Albany Symphony Orchestra at The Palace Theatre on Saturday evening. The program includes the Beethoven Triple Concerto and Brahms' Symphony No. 4 in E minor.
