Lapland Lake Nordic Vacation Center

Arctic Circle Ski Center
With 25 Km cross country ski trails, Arctic Circle in Gloversville is a great place to bring the family for winter adventure. XC ski rentals are available as well as a warming hut for those extra cold days. Snow tubing, ice skating and snowmobiling are also available.
Pineridge XC Ski Area
Enjoy 35 Km groomed woodland skiing trails at Pineridge in East Poestenkill. Situated in the foothills of the Berkshires and Taconic Mountains and just a quick drive east from Albany, Pineridge offers wooded trails through hardwoods and evergreens. Go night skiing through 4 Km lighted trails or enjoy skiing through the track set specifically for traditional XC. Prefer ski skating? Pineridge offers 20 Km skating trails as well. Lessons, ski rentals, guided tours, warming lodge and a retail shop are all available.
Tree Haven Trails
Delight in over 30 miles of groomed and track-set XC skiing trails in Hagamon, NY! Just 45 minutes northwest of Albany, Tree Haven Trails offers trails for beginners and advanced skiers alike making it a great place for the entire family to XC ski or snowshoe. Instruction, warming hut and ski rentals are available.
Schenectady County Forest
Head over to nearby Duanesburg, NY for cross-country skiing in a flat to rolling woodland forest preserve. Schenectady County Nature and Historic Preserve is comprised of 102 acres of native hardwood and red pine forest for snowshoeing, XC skiing in winter. Located on Lake Road (County Route 88)
