We’ve been writing about red-light cameras since last summer as the city slowly rolls the traffic control devices out across Albany. More cameras go live at midnight tonight, we’ve got the locations below.
Cameras at the following intersections will be active starting tonight at midnight:
- Northbound and eastbound approaches at New Scotland Ave. and Manning Blvd.
- Eastbound and westbound approaches at Central Ave. and Henry Johnson Blvd.
- Southbound approach at Madison Ave. and South Pearl St.
- Northbound approach at Madison Ave. and Quail St.
There is a warning period for the first 10 days when a camera goes live. After February 16th, you’ll be subject to a camera citation if you run these lights.
You’ve been warned!
