About this event

By joining Take Steps, you will become part of the IBD community, who not only provide support to each other -- but who, together, are actively raising money to support the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation fund research into better treatments and ultimately cures for IBD. Join the Take Steps movement to raise funds for IBD and we can celebrate together at your local Take Steps event.

Coming together for a common goal, friends, families, and co-workers form fundraising walk teams and motivate and inspire each other along the way. Walk festivals are filled with live music, food, kid's entertainment, education materials and so much more. Rain or shine, it is a day of celebration that will leave you feeling empowered for having made a difference, inspired about the future and connected to those on a similar journey.

Take Steps has brought together more than 360,000 people and raised over $95 million to help further the Foundation's mission. The money we raise goes towards breakthrough research, public and professional education, and patient support services in communities across the nation.

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization whose mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. With 38 local chapters across the country, we provide both local and national education and support.  We have raised and invested more than $350 million in research for cures. This funding has enabled many groundbreaking treatments, improved the quality of care, and brought hope to countless lives through programs like Take Steps.
