Asbury Shorts USA returns to The Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio in Albany for its 9th consecutive year (!) to present: An Evening of the World’s Best Short Films! Recommended for ages 16 and way above! A great night of films and fun at one of our favorite tour stops!! Join us!!

This eclectic screening of world-renowned shorts storms into The Linda on Saturday night with the first film blasting on to the screen at 8:00pm. Richard Lovrich, award-winning photographer, author and creative director at the historic Proctor’s Theater, will serve as the show’s guest host.

Academy Award nominated Director Jason Reitman (“Juno, “Up in the Air”, “Thank You for Smoking,” “Young Adult”) calls Asbury Shorts: “The Best Short Film Show I’ve ever seen!” Combining classic festival award winners from the past with new international selections, Asbury Shorts provides a rare opportunity for the public to view elite films on a real cinema screen as opposed to You Tube, computers or smart phones.

Asbury Short Film Concerts have been presented at The DGA Theatre in Manhattan, Summer Stage in Central Park, The AERO Theatre in Santa Monica, CA.; The Vero Beach Museum of Art in Florida, Creative Alliance in Baltimore, Royal Festival Hall in London, The Osprey Art Center in Nova Scotia, Canada and the Leminske Theater in Berlin, to name just a few of the prestigious venues where audiences have enjoyed these amazing films.
