About this event
Italian horror master Dario Argento elevated the giallo genre to new heights with 1982’s TENEBRAE, a darkly humorous, yet grisley murder-mystery that many consider to be one of his finest works.
Visiting Rome on a promotional tour for his new murder-mystery novel, American writer (Anthony Franciosa) is pulled into the search for a serial killer who may have been inspired to kill by his violent literary creation. While the police look into the crimes, the author initiates an investigation of his own with the help of a pair of assistants. As the murderer brutally dispatches of more victims, the writer believes he is getting close to discovering the psychopath's identity. Three of GOBLIN’s founding band members created and performed the incredibly electrifying score. The film also stars John Saxon, Daria Nicolodi and Giuliano Gemma. As with other ICFS events, expect prizes, surprises, themed drinks and comfy couches.
