The Hudson Mohawk Chapter of the Pioneer Gas Engine Association will be holding its annual Gas Up show in Gallupville, New York on June 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th. When you visit Gas Up you will step into the past and enjoy the many displays of antique gas engines, tractors, and farm equipment, listen to the puttering of hit-and-miss engines, see early 20th century automobiles driving by, and watch an old steam powered sawmill hard at work. There are also many displays of 20th century household items and collections for your viewing pleasure.
The Gas Up also features home-made ice cream powered by hit and miss engines and catering from BBQ Delights. These are available for purchase onsite.
This enjoyable and educational event is free and open to the public. Gas Up is held annually on the second and third weekends of June. Approximately thirty-five miles west of Albany in Schoharie County, plenty of free parking available. 106 Murphy Road, Gallupville, New York 12157. Attendees and volunteers will be following the CDC and NYS guidelines that are in place at the time.
