If the person or persons you delegated to aren&#8217;t in the office or have left your company, or if it just seems easier for you to do it yourself, it can be easy to get re-engaged into activities that no longer should be in your area of concern.<\/p>\n<p>How do you stop the maddening cycle of un-delegating? Have accountability built into your business, both for the delegated and the delegator (you). Have your team assess your performance as a leader and help you determine the roles and responsibilities that you should be concerned with.<\/p>\n<p>Do you work alone? Then it may be even easier to break the maddening cycle. Since the only person responsible for your time is you, use something like the <a>Covey 4 Quadrant matrix<\/a> to help you plot out what you may need to let go of, what you can delegate, and more.
