I’ve seen so many people of late who have lamented being out of the work, yet aren’t doing anything about it. I gave an offer to about half a dozen students out of work to send me their resume and cover letter and that we’d review it and send them some ideas for jobs FOR FREE. We got NO RESPONSE!<\/p>\n

If you want to work, you will find work. If you don’t want to work, you will continue to sit on your hands and wait for it to come to you. Here are some things to keep in mind when you are out of work.<\/p>\n

1. You aren’t alone. You have a strong network, whether you realize it or not. Utilize it.<\/p>\n

2. Meet people for coffee. Getting out of the house helps.<\/p>\n

3. Look the part of an employed person. If you look professional, you will feel professional.<\/p>\n
