More and more people and organizations need to embrace the idea that an 8 hour shift is barbaric and not the optimum for productivity. Finding ways to look at the following options for full-time workers can add to your productivity.<\/p>\n
1. Consider 4 10 hour days for your team; this especially works well when trying to cover a shift on the overnight.<\/p>\n
2. Consider scheduling your team for 3 9 hour shifts and 2 6.5 hour shifts to allow them some flexibility with their free time.<\/p>\n
3. Consider a mix of face to face and virtual work, allowing your team to spend 8am to 1 pm at the office and 3 hours from home each day.<\/p>\n
