Recently, the country of France passed a law banning work email after 6pm. This law, while restricting in a sense, gives credence to the notion that many of us are fried at work and need to have some limits placed on our connection to others.<\/p>\n
Would this work in America? It is hard to fathom given the 24\/7 nature of most businesses, but it does give us all an opportunity to contemplate how this “limitation” can change how work is done.<\/p>\n
This week, I challenge you to adopt a no work email after 6pm strategy and see how it works for you. For me, I check email at 6am, 10am, 2pm and 6pm before shifting gears away from work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
