I read Rudy Giuliani’s book Leadership in grad school and I learned how important it is to stop the “petty crimes” which generally are done by people who are responsible for the bigger crimes.<\/p>\n
Similarly, at the workplace, we need to nip in the bud the smallest of aberrant behaviors if we wish to have a civilized workforce.<\/p>\n
Here are some things you need to nip in the bud at your business:<\/p>\n
1. Negative self-talk<\/p>\n
2. Slow paced conversations and movement<\/p>\n
3. Poor eye contact<\/p>\n
4. Gossip<\/p>\n
5. Whispering<\/p>\n
6. Ducking and ditching responsibility<\/p>\n
7. Poor posture<\/p>\n
If you can eliminate these, and others from your workplace, you will solve the bigger problems of turnover, lack of productivity, lost sales and poor customer service scores.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
