The program gives employees the freedom to work on their own terms, their own time, and measures the employees only on the results they produce. Best Buy Corporate was the first company to start ROWE. Now, companies like GAP Outlet are adopting ROWE.<\/p>\n<p>ROWE aims to provide a relaxed, comfortable environment that completely eliminates the conventional office. The ideal ROWE workplace has no set hours, no required meetings, and in some cases employees aren&#8217;t even required to come into the office. Perkins states that ROWE has benefits for both employers and employees, but like anything has its potential drawbacks as well.
