Negativity has many effects on employees, but the biggest problem you face is that it ruins morale and with that affects productivity, sick days, and turnover rate (Richards). Having an open door policy encourages employees to have effective communication with you and seek your help (Team). Also, every time an employee leaves your company you should be attempting to conduct an exit interview. An exit interview allows you to understand what an employee wasn’t a good fit for your company and what changes you need to make to ensure that turnover remains manageable (Team s. )<\/p>\n
If workplace negativity isn’t tracked and handled then the consequences can be significant. Having a positive culture is an essential part of basic employee wants and they will leave at best if not controlled.
