  1. Create a running document to have a record of things you have done by the end of your internship. You will never believe how much you actually accomplished during your short time here! It will also be nice to quantify things for your resume.<\/span><\/span>

  2. Take advantage of the network of interns. Reach out to different teams. I started off as an HR Intern but added the Writing & Editing Team too!<\/span><\/span>

    \n<\/li>\n
  3. Schedule calls with Robert, even if you aren\u2019t the team lead. The flat structure we have here at Braathe is something you will not experience everywhere, guaranteed. If you need more work or aren\u2019t hitting the goals you comprised at the beginning of your internship, schedule a call.<\/span><\/span>

    \n<\/li>\n
  4. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Because this internship is virtual, you do not have the same type of onboarding and team-building skills that you would in a psychical one; however, everyone is encouraged to check their emails frequently and respond.<\/span><\/span>

  5. Check your email frequently. You will not receive word-of-mouth updates like you would in an office. You need to be communicative and make yourself available in order to have a nice, efficient flow!<\/span><\/span>

  6. Build your LinkedIn connections during your time here. Start with the interns who are rotated in and out, then move into alumni, professionals, teachers, etc. It is easier to do a little at a time like Robert suggests- 15 minutes a day- than it is when you are trying to speed-network for a job in a few years.<\/span><\/span>

  7. Ask your leads for help or 1:1\u2019s! I helped Dylan on a project and now he is a lead! Leads are here to help you, find things for you to do, and grow your experiences. Take advantage of that!<\/span><\/span>

  8. Recommend Braathe Enterprises to friends, We want similar, driven, curious individuals to join us in our 10+ year virtual internship program. Who could better speak to it than yourself? Recommend it to your Universities as well! I will be keeping open lines of communication with Robert- asking him to let me know when new listings are up so I can bring them to Penn State\u2019s Career Service Station!<\/span><\/span>

  9. Choose to do a Zoom call as opposed to a phone call. Get to know your team better. Use the Share Screen feature for more hands-on learning.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n

    Host Zoom socials so the team can understand the culture more. Get people to show up and socialize with the team. Expand your team-based mindset and interact with them.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
