It\u2019s no secret that Linkedin has become mainstream. Companies arguably use it as a perfect medium to look for new employees. Because of the digital; age we live in, the job application process is constantly changing. Linkedin can now be an integral part of it. In this article, you\u2019ll learn how to make Linkedin an asset to your resume. In some cases, it can make all the difference. More specifically, here are 5 essential tips to get you started:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Become an active user: <\/span>Engage yourself with the platform at least multiple times a day. Consider making it a part of your daily routine. Those who use the platform multiple times a day get more profile views and visits.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Become a Linkedin learner: <\/span>Linkedin offers a myriad of free programs and certifications. These are great resume boosters.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Become a keyword fiend: <\/span>Search engines and keywords together are an incredibly powerful duo. Understand this! Use it to your advantage! When customizing and editing your profile, use keywords related to your occupation. Avoid any vague and general words.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
